Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Jini Invoice collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the app.
This is an initial operating policy for the current product. It is not legal advice and should be reviewed before a wider public launch.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the information needed to run the invoice tool, including your Google account email and basic profile details used for sign-in, business profile details, client details, invoice data, payment status, notes, account status, and admin usage records.
We may also collect technical information such as session identifiers, request metadata, error logs, security logs, and rate-limit records to keep the service reliable and secure.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to authenticate users, save business and client records, create and manage invoices, generate on-demand invoice PDFs for sharing or printing, manage account access and monthly limits, send admin notifications, provide support, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
3. Invoice Records And PDFs
Jini Invoice stores invoice data as application records and may store JSON invoice artifacts. For the current version, generated PDF files are created on demand for sharing, downloading, or printing. The app does not intentionally store durable generated PDF bytes in R2 as a permanent PDF archive.
4. Service Providers
We use Cloudflare Pages, Cloudflare Pages Functions, Cloudflare D1, and Cloudflare R2 to host the app, run backend functions, and store application data. We use Google OAuth for sign-in. If Gmail notifications are configured, Gmail may be used to send administrative notifications or future user-approved email flows.
5. Sharing And Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information to service providers that help operate the app, when required by law, to protect the security of the app, or with your direction when you share, download, print, or send invoice information.
6. Overseas Processing
Cloud and authentication providers may process or store information in locations outside Australia depending on their infrastructure and service configuration.
7. Access, Correction, And Deletion
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information held by Jini Invoice by contacting us. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
8. Security
We use access controls, Google sign-in, session controls, owner-scoped data access, request size limits, and abuse protection to help protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
9. Retention
We keep information while it is needed to provide the app, maintain invoice records, comply with operational or legal requirements, resolve disputes, and protect security. We may delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed.
10. Cookies And Sessions
The app uses session cookies and browser storage where needed for sign-in, language preference, navigation, and secure operation.
11. Children
Jini Invoice is designed for business use and is not intended for children.
12. Changes To This Policy
We may update this policy as the product changes. The effective date above shows when this version started applying.
